What do you believe makes a “great leader” a great leader? What do you truly believe about leadership? Your leadership beliefs translate into leadership practices and tendencies. Those tendencies become action and is what people see and experience from your leadership. And that creates the outcome you and your team get. Are you getting the outcomes you ultimately want?
Beliefs and philosophies on leadership can be found everywhere and some of those we have adopted as our own. However, some of them are outdated, inaccurate, or simply not true. Due to changes in our world, leadership has evolved into a different mode and has taken on a different look. + Are you making that shift? + Are your tendencies and habits changing and growing? + Are you aware of your leadership habits? + Can you clearly state what you believe about leadership? You can’t change what you don’t know. Most tendencies are very subtle and unintentional. Therefore, your leadership may not be what you want people to experience and what you want to leave behind. This may not be creating the positive outcome you desire. And, while these tendencies may not seem like a big deal, it turns out they are! And, it all starts from the INSIDE OUT by expanding our thinking and perspective! In this NONconference, we will uncover some of your tendencies that you may not be able to identify on your own. We will take a strong look at where you may be leaning and what you may be communicating at an unconscious level. Each conversation will identify contrasting tendencies and is designed to open your mind and eyes to where your tendency might lie while giving you practices to move you beyond. We need to take time to reflect on and rethink leadership. Remember…leadership is experienced and seen through the eyes of the follower!
